Water Chemistry and The Strict RO Mandate:

The Zero-Tolerance Policy. It is utterly impossible and highly lethal to keep Taiwan Bees in tap water. You are STRICTLY REQUIRED to use pure, 0-TDS Reverse Osmosis (RO) water, perfectly remineralized with specialized Caridina GH+ salts to exactly 100-120 TDS. You MUST use active buffering soil (like ADA Amazonia) to crush the KH to 0 and hold the pH violently steady between 5.5 and 6.0. Any deviation, spike in ammonia, or accidental drop of heavy metals will wipe out hundreds of dollars of shrimp overnight.

Temperature and Summer Meltdown:

The Cool-Water Sickness. These are highly inbred, genetically fragile creatures. They have virtually zero immune system. If your tank temperature rises above 76°F - 78°F (25°C - 26°C) during the summer, naturally occurring bacteria in the tank will rapidly overwhelm their weak immune systems, causing massive bacterial infections and a total colony wipeout. Aquarium cooling fans or expensive chillers are absolutely mandatory.
