Care and observations

The Deep Sand Requirement: They literally dive head-first into the sandbed to sleep every single night. If you have a bare-bottom tank or crushed coral gravel, they will repeatedly smash their face into the hard floor trying to bury themselves, destroy their mouths, and die of severe stress and starvation.
